The meeting of the heads of past and present periods of science and technology parks, and documenting the experiences of two decades of activity of science and technology parks and incubators was held by STPIA in 30 April 2025

To foster intergenerational dialogue in the management of science and technology parks and to draw on past experiences in shaping a smarter future, a national forum titled *“The meeting of the heads of past and present periods of science and technology parks, and documenting the experiences of two decades of activity of science and technology parks and incubators.”* was convened with the participation of past and present leaders from across the country.

The gathering aimed to bridge institutional memory with forward-looking strategies by creating a platform for shared insights, strategic dialogue, and collaborative reflection on key opportunities and challenges facing science and technology parks. Particular emphasis was placed on leveraging historical lessons to guide the evolving role of these institutions as they move from a phase of consolidation to one of national impact and maturity.

Key themes addressed during the forum included:

* Aligning park missions with regional strengths and future development trajectories

* Evolving functions and strategic positioning of science and technology parks

* Strengthening structural cohesion and inter-park networks

* Preserving human capital and ensuring the transmission of leadership experience

* Enhancing synergy with other actors in the innovation ecosystem

The event concluded with an engaging interactive panel in which former presidents shared their experiences and insights, reinforcing the importance of continuity, collaboration, and strategic foresight in shaping the future of the innovation landscape.
