Nowruz is the Iranian or Persian New Year celebrated by various ethnic groups worldwide that started as a Zoroastrian celebration. It is on or around 21 March on the Gregorian calendar. As we approach the conclusion of another remarkable year, we wish to take a moment to extend our deepest gratitude for our partner's invaluable partnership and steadfast support throughout this journey of nurturing enterprising entrepreneurs and innovators for an ever-changing world. This is to announce to our friends that as the last meeting of this year, the STPIA Board of Directors gathered on the 10th of March at the Sharif Innovation Area in Tehran, the capital of Iran. The meeting revolved around strategic discussions about the plans and activities for the coming year. Central to STPIA’s mission is keeping up to date the awareness and knowledge of the technological society of the country and providing a solid network for individuals and legal entities involved in innovation and technology, this will happen by holding national conferences annually, therefore in line with this objective, STPIA's board of directors discussed the 4th national conference plans and drew together on the steering committee members. STPIA's 4th national conference with the title "Emerging Technologies, Innovative Organizations, Sustainable Development will be held on the 6th and 7th of November 2024 in Alborz Science and Technology Park, Alborz, Iran.

In line with another aim of STPIA, which is the evaluation and accreditation of innovation ecosystems, the association is planning for an international training workshop titled "Accreditation and Assessment of Innovation Organizations, e.g. STPs and Incubators" in May 2024 in Tehran. In line with the mission of STPIA, the heart of what we do, through networking experiences is shared between members in the field of national and international technology and innovation, STPIA is also planning a technology tour titled " Sharing the experiences of STPs and Incubators" in June 2024. As you all know, STPIA publishes a varied collection of newsletters, magazines, papers, and books on STPs and AOIs, enabling members to compare models and trends. We will have good news on this topic for the upcoming new year. (Keep following us). At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the Board. Dr. Ali Motamedzadegan, our Eng. Hamid Mahdavi and the board of directors hope that the coming year may be marked by prosperity and continued achievements for everyone.
